When he’s not teaching music lessons as a vocal coach, piano teacher, and being a theory/songwriting guru, Derek Roura can be found performing around the Tampa Bay and Orlando area. Not only does he write his own alt indie originals, but he also loves performing pop, rock, soul, and top 40’s covers.
A seasoned musician, Derek has been teaching for almost a decade and has performed for even longer; he is happy to have found a home at Westrick Vocal Studio, where the uplifting and tight-knit team feels like another family.
You won’t want to miss his unfolding music projects, including an upcoming EP album, several song features with local artists like rapper CedLyfe and singer Maria Jade, and gigs alongside the rock band Rhythm Me Up and a classical crossover ensemble called Klassika.
