Every coach at WVS is a working professional — performing, directing, writing, and creating alongside the students they teach. This is what it looks like when your teacher is living the thing they're teaching.
Rallia Westrick
Founder & Artistic Director
Rallia didn't just grow up around music — she grew up inside it. As a member of the family behind Starke Lake Studios, a platinum recording studio in Ocoee, Florida, music was never something she had to discover. It was already home.
With over fifteen years of teaching experience and more than twenty years as a performing artist — including work as a recording artist and stages across the US and internationally — Rallia brought a depth of perspective to WVS from day one. What she’s built here most studios spend a decade chasing: a community where students don't just learn to perform, they learn to believe in themselves.
As Founder and Artistic Director, she leads the vision, the people, and the direction of the studio. Some of her earliest students are now pursuing professional performance careers. That's not something she advertises — it's just what happens when the right environment exists long enough.
Andy Westrick
Strategic Director
Andy is the operational and strategic mind behind Westrick Vocal Studio — the person working behind the scenes to make sure the business runs as well as the lessons do. As co-owner alongside his wife Rallia, he oversees the systems, structure, and long-term vision that allow WVS to grow without losing what makes it special.
His background bridges two worlds that don't always talk to each other: creative arts and business strategy. A lifelong musician and experience in multiple fields, Andy also founded Ovation Coaching & Consulting and created The SCORE Method™ — a coaching framework used with founders and creative organizations navigating growth and operational complexity.
At WVS, that perspective shows up in the way the studio is built — the culture, the systems, the team, and the experience families have from the moment they walk in. The goal has always been the same: create something worth belonging to.
Meghan Steffey
Studio Operations Coordinator
Meghan came to WVS as a student two years ago — and liked what she found here enough to make it her workplace too. As Studio Operations Coordinator, she's the person working behind the scenes to make sure students and families have a smooth, welcoming experience every time they walk through the door.
Her professional background is in operations and guest experience at Walt Disney World, where she was part of the Opening Team for TRON Lightcycle // Run and continues to serve as a Trainer. She has also coordinated private events, which means organization, communication, and creating memorable experiences aren't new territory for her.
Having experienced WVS as a student first gives Meghan a perspective most operations coordinators don't have — she already knows what it feels like to be on the other side of the desk.
Derek Roura
Coach | Voice & Piano
Derek has been performing longer than some of his students have been alive — and teaching for nearly a decade. When he's not in the lesson room, he's gigging across the Tampa Bay and Orlando area with an alt-indie original project, a rock band called Rhythm Me Up, and a classical crossover ensemble called Klassika, while also collaborating on features with local artists like rapper CedLyfe and singer Maria Jade. An EP is in the works.
His musical range is just as broad in the classroom — pop, rock, soul, top 40, and everything in between. Derek teaches voice and piano at WVS, where he's built a reputation for meeting students where they are and helping them find their own sound.
Like every WVS coach, Derek is living the thing he's teaching — and his students feel that difference the moment they walk in.
Natalie Hightower
Coach | Voice, Acting, & Piano
Natalie grew up in Los Angeles with a piano teacher for a mom — which means music wasn't something she discovered, it was something she was born into. She went on to earn her BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University, where she performed and music directed multiple productions before graduating and heading straight to Walt Disney World to begin her performing career.
Since settling in Orlando, Natalie has performed, music directed, and taught across the city — most recently stepping into the role of Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly alongside Broadway legend Jodi Benson at the Dr. Phillips Center.
She teaches voice, acting, and piano at WVS with a philosophy rooted in three things: confidence, storytelling, and healthy vocal technique. Her goal is to find what makes each student uniquely strong — and help them own it. Like every WVS coach, Natalie is living the thing she's teaching.
Bethany Tesner
Coach | Voice, Acting, & Piano
Bethany brings a rare combination to the lesson room: the formal training of a Music Education degree from Western Michigan University, the versatility of a performer who has studied classical, musical theater, and jazz technique, and the stage credentials of someone actively performing at both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Florida.
Before relocating to Orlando, she spent years teaching K-12 in both private and public schools across southeastern Michigan and directing children's theater — which means she knows how to meet students exactly where they are, whether that's a nervous beginner or a developing artist ready for a real challenge.
Her goal is simple: spread a genuine love for music to students of all ages and all genres. Like every WVS coach, Bethany is living the thing she's teaching.
Christopher Russell
Coach | Voice, Acting, & Piano
Twenty years performing and music directing across North America before making Orlando his home — and his résumé reflects every mile of it. A graduate of Oklahoma City University's Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre program, Chris has appeared in over seventy productions, including the 2017–2018 North American Tour of The Wizard of Oz as the Tin Man, the 2012–2013 National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof as Avram, and Alaska Cabin Nite in Denali — where he also served as the on-stage pianist, guitarist, and mandolin player.
His music directing credits include the regional premiere of First Date and the world premiere of Finding Nemo, Jr. As a composer, he has scored two full musicals, contributed music to multiple indie films, and written the theme song for the NPR podcast The Last Ride. He now performs as an actor/musician at Universal Studios and Epic Universe.
Twenty years of professional experience has a way of sharpening your instincts — and Chris brings all of it into the lesson room. Like every WVS coach, he is living the thing he's teaching.
Ashley Lambros
Coach | Voice & Acting
Ashley's theater origin story starts in middle school, when she was cast as Captain Hook in a production of Peter Pan — and she's been hooked ever since. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of West Florida and has spent the years since graduation teaching theater across Orlando-area schools and running her own theater camp for students of all ages.
Her most recent stage credit is hard to top: Ashley was part of the opening cast of The Untrainable Dragon at Epic Universe, performing as a singer at one of the most anticipated theme park openings in years.
She brings that same working-professional energy into the lesson room — because like every WVS coach, Ashley is living the thing she's teaching.
Zachary Swafford
Coach | Voice & Acting
Zachary is one of those rare coaches who isn't between gigs — he's actively performing at both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios while bringing that same professional stage experience into the lesson room. A Tennessee native with music deep in his roots, he holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.
His teaching philosophy is straightforward: create a space where any student — regardless of where they're starting — can learn what it actually takes to be a performer. Not just the technique, but the mindset.
Like every WVS coach, Zach is living the thing he's teaching — and that's not something you find everywhere.
Kay Brazzell
Coach | Voice & Acting
Kay brings a performer's instincts and an improviser's presence to every lesson. A Theatre Performance graduate from Rollins College, she's worked stages ranging from full-scale musicals to live scare performance at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights — and everything in between.
Her background in both scripted performance and improv (as a member of Rollins Improv Players) means she meets students where they are, helps them get out of their own heads, and makes the learning process feel more like play than pressure.
Kay teaches voice and acting at WVS — and her students tend to leave lessons a little more confident than when they walked in.

Blake Mitchell
Coach | Voice & Acting
Blake brings serious academic credentials to the lesson room — a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Samford University and a Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy from Shenandoah Conservatory, where he specialized in Contemporary Commercial Music. He recently relocated to Winter Garden and joined the WVS community shortly after.
Beyond coaching, Blake works as a performer, music director, composer, and arranger with a deep love for musical theatre, choral singing, Disney, and the Great American Songbook.
Like every WVS coach, Blake is living the thing he's teaching.
Kayla Kelsay Morales
Coach | Voice, Acting & Piano
Kayla brings the perspective of someone who sits on the other side of the audition table. As Co-Owner and Director of Casting at Kelsay + Morales Company, Central Florida's only theatrical casting office, she has cast Off-Broadway shows, national tours, and regional theatre productions throughout the area.
Her performance credentials are equally strong. Kayla holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida and has performed with the Voices of Liberty at Walt Disney World — one of the most respected a cappella ensembles in the industry. She has also served as a Producer for the Orlando Fringe Festival and as a teaching artist and Adjudicator for the Applause Awards at the Dr. Phillips Center.
