  • Zachary is one of those rare coaches who isn't between gigs — he's actively performing at both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios while bringing that same professional stage experience into the lesson room. A Tennessee native with music deep in his roots, he holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.

His teaching philosophy is straightforward: create a space where any student — regardless of where they're starting — can learn what it actually takes to be a performer. Not just the technique, but the mindset.

Like every WVS coach, Zach is living the thing he's teaching — and that's not something you find everywhere.

  • When he’s not teaching music lessons as a vocal coach, piano teacher, and being a theory/songwriting guru, Derek Roura can be found performing around the Tampa Bay and Orlando area. Not only does he write his own alt indie originals, but he also loves performing pop, rock, soul, and top 40’s covers.

A seasoned musician, Derek has been teaching for almost a decade and has performed for even longer; he is happy to have found a home at Westrick Vocal Studio, where the uplifting and tight-knit team feels like another family.

You won’t want to miss his unfolding music projects, including an upcoming EP album, several song features with local artists like rapper CedLyfe and singer Maria Jade, and gigs alongside the rock band Rhythm Me Up and a classical crossover ensemble called Klassika.

  • Christopher Russell spent twenty years performing and music directing across North America before making Orlando his theatrical home, where he now performs as an actor/musician for Universal Studios and Epic Universe. After receiving his Bachelor of Music in music theatre from Oklahoma City University, Chris went on to appear in over seventy productions including the 2017-2018 North American Tour of The Wizard of Oz (the Tin Man), the 2012-2013 National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof (Avram), and Alaska Cabin Nite in Denali, Alaska, for which he also played piano, guitar, and mandolin.

Music directing credits include the regional premier of First Date and the world premiere of Finding Nemo, Jr. As a composer/songwriter, Chris has written the music for two musicals, composed and orchestrated music for multiple indie films, and even composed the theme song for the NPR podcast The Last Ride. With a love for all genres of music, Chris is thrilled to raise students up as a new member of the Westrick Vocal Studio.

  • Katy Reiss is absolutely thrilled to be joining Westrick Vocal Studio! Katy received her bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance at Rollins college and has been studying acting and vocal performance for over 10 years, while being a working actor in the Orlando Area.

  • Kay brings a performer's instincts and an improviser's presence to every lesson. A Theatre Performance graduate from Rollins College, she's worked stages ranging from full-scale musicals to live scare performance at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights — and everything in between.

Her background in both scripted performance and improv (as a member of Rollins Improv Players) means she meets students where they are, helps them get out of their own heads, and makes the learning process feel more like play than pressure.

Kay teaches voice and acting at WVS — and her students tend to leave lessons a little more confident than when they walked in.

  • Natalie Hightower is a singer, actor and pianist originally from Los Angeles. With a piano teacher for a mom, she was instilled with a love for music from a very young age and began pursuing musical theatre at the age of 12 and has never looked back. She received her BFA in musical theatre from Point Park University.

Throughout college she had the opportunity music direct a number of productions in addition to performing. She has also taught voice and music directed at various summer theatre programs in Los Angeles and Phoenix, AZ. Immediately after school she moved to Orlando to start performing at Walt Disney World. Since then she has gone on to perform, music direct and teach all around Orlando. In the summer of 2024 she had the opportunity to perform as Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly alongside Jodi Benson at the Dr. Phillips Center.

One of her biggest passions is sharing her love of theatre with children and adults alike. She loves to help each individual find their strengths and bring them out. She believes that confidence, storytelling and healthy vocal technique are the keys to becoming the best performer you can be.
